HATAY
51 tons of flour have been sent to Syrian city of Latakia for Syrian people within the scope of "Bread&Blanket for Syria" campaign.
51 tons of flour collected in Istanbul under the campaign were brought to Yayladagi town of Turkey's southern province of Hatay and sent to Latakia.
"Bread&Blanket for Syria" campaign was launched last December in Turkey by a group of Turkish civil society organizations and it quickly received nation-wide support.
International leg of the "Bread&Blanket for Syria" campaign was launched last week.
The campaign has received the support of charity organizations from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Malaysia, Pakistan, Britain, Macedonia, Kuwait, Morocco, Lebanon, Libya, Yemen, Jordan, Egypt, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Bahrain, Algeria and Belgium.
48 prefabricated houses sent to Syria
Deniz Feneri Association Norhern Anatolia Regional Representation sent 48 prefabricated houses to Syria within scope of the "Bread and Blanket for Syria" campaign.
Each prefabricated house is 14 square metres big and will be built by the Syrian volunteers.
The Association will also provide sofa beds, bunk beds, blankets, heaters and food for the Syrians in need.
