
ANKARA
"Body Worlds," an exhibition of real human cadavers, is set to open in the Turkish capital, Ankara, on Friday.
"Body Worlds: The Anatomical Exhibition of Real Human Bodies" by Gunther von Hagens displays human specimens, including full bodies, which have been preserved by plastination, a process that keeps tissue in a lifelike state by replacing body fluids with plastic.
Ankara's Kentpark shopping mall will be the venue for the event which will remain open till February 2.
The show's first venue in Turkey was Istanbul and it was visited by more than 400,000 people.
