IDLIB
An Anadolu Agency (AA) team of reporters took photographs in and shot videos of the Syrian city of Harem in the Idlib Governorate after the city was badly damaged due to the attacks of Assad forces and was taken under the control of the Syrian opposition three days ago.
Harem is only seven kilometers away from the Turkish border and most of its residents left the city after fierce clashes between the Assad forces and the opposition.
Dozens of mothers are in tears in Harem after their children were killed in the attacks of Assad forces and who are now under the rubble.
Those who have not left Harem try to survive in the cold weather and poverty.
Speaking to the AA, one of the commanders of the Free Syrian Army, Abu Riyadh Ahmad stressed that they captured more than 150 Assad troops and close to 200 Shabiha members and seized six tanks as well as many arms while fighting in Harem.
