HATAY
Governorship of the southern province of Hatay said a Syrian artillery shell landed on Turkish territory at 14.30 hours, some 1,200 meters away from the Syrian border.
In a written statement released on Saturday, Hatay Governorship stressed that the latest Syrian artillery shell landed on a vacant land.
"Turkish troops retaliated against Syria by firing two mortar shells on Saturday afternoon," the Hatay Governorship also said.
Earlier in the day, Syrian artillery shells landed on Turkish territory, one at 07.00 hours and the other at 11.30 hours.
