Osman, 87 years old, the grandson of Fatma Naime Sultan, Sultan Abdulhamid's daughter, died on Feb. 10 in Paris.

Osman's son Remy Cengiz told journalists during the funeral that Osman’s body was brought to Turkey in line with his wishes.

"The last wish of my father was to be buried in Turkey with his cousins and relatives. For this reason, let me express my appreciation to the prime minister and the mayor of Istanbul's Fatih district."
