Italian tennis player Matteo Berrettini advanced on Saturday to the fourth round of the US Open.

Berrettini, who is the world’s number six seeded player, defeated Ilya Ivashka from Belarus 6-7, 6-2, 6-4, 2-6, and 6-3 in three hours and 46 minutes in New York.

In women's singles, Canada's 2019 US Open champ Bianca Andreescu beat Greet Minnen from Belgium, while Greece's Maria Sakkari defeated Petra Kvitova from the Czech Republic in straight sets.
