ANKARA

Turkish wrestler Muhammet Karavus won a gold medal Tuesday at the 2022 Mediterranean Games.

Karavus beat Levan Metreveli Vartanov from Spain 9-2 in the men's freestyle 57 kg final.

The Mediterranean Games, which are being held in the Algerian city of Oran, will end on July 6.
