Turkish basketball team's 12-man squad for Olympic qualifiers unveiled

ANKARA

Turkey on Monday unveiled its 12-member squad for the FIBA Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

The Turkish Basketball Federation announced the roster which will be under the management of head coach Orhun Ene in the tournament to be held in Canada's Victoria.

The roster of Turkey's national men's basketball team:

Sertac Sanli, Bugrahan Tuncer (Anadolu Efes), Sehmus Hazer, Alperen Sengun, (Besiktas Icrypex), Dogus Ozdemiroglu (Darussafaka Tekfen), Melih Mahmutoglu (Fenerbahce Beko), Metecan Birsen (Pinar Karsiyaka), Berk Ibrahim Ugurlu (TOFAS), Cedi Osman (Cleveland Cavaliers), Omer Faruk Yurtseven (Miami Heat), Furkan Korkmaz (Philadelphia 76ers), and Ersan Ilyasova (Utah Jazz).

Turkey to face Uruguay, Czech Republic in Group B

Turkey will battle in Group B against Uruguay and Czech Republic at the Victoria Memorial Arena.

Greece, China, and the hosts Canada are in Group A.

They will fight from June 29 to July 4 to bag only one ticket for Olympics.
