Ticket registration for 2016 Olympics to start in March
The cheapest ticket will be put up for $15 and the first draw for tickets will be carried out in July, Brazilian Olympics Committee has announced.

Tickets for the 2016 Summer Olympics to be held in the Brazilian city Rio de Janeiro will be registered in March, Brazilian Olympics Committee announced Friday.
At least 70 percent of the tickets were reportedly reserved for Brazilians, while registrations for 5.7 million tickets would be made through the event's official website.
The cheapest ticket would be put up for $15 and the first draw for tickets would be carried out in July. The draw would be made from among people who registered for the tickets in March.
Officials emphasized that the construction of all facilities and infrastructure works, including transportation projects would be completed before the deadline.
It is the first time that a South American city will host the summer Olympics, which will begin at Maracana Stadium on Aug. 5, 2016.
