Thousands of fans were treated to a glittering closing ceremony on Sunday evening ahead of the World Cup final between France and Argentina.
Performances by renowned singers including Afro-pop star Davido, Aisha, Nora Fatehi, and Rahma Riad lit up the Lusail Stadium.
Davido and Qatari star Aisha belted out a rendition of “Hayya Hayya (Better Together),” one of the official songs for the 2022 World Cup.
A thrilling air show marking Qatar National Day, observed annually on Dec. 18, was also part of the ceremony.
