Schalke extend winless run to 30 matches in Bundesliga

Hertha Berlin shutout Schalke 04 3-0 at home Saturday with the visitors extending their winless streak to 30 matches in the Bundesliga.
Hertha secured a comfortable win with goals by Matteo Guendouzi, Jhon Cordoba and Krzystof Piatek at the Olympiastadion.
After completing 2020 with only one win in the Bundesliga, Schalke 04 were seeking a better start to 2021 but they suffered another defeat.
Schalke's last win was Jan. 17, 2020 when they beat Borussia Monchengladbach 2-0 at home in Veltins-Arena.
The club are at the bottom of the Bundesliga with 4 points in 14 games and 10 defeats.
Hertha Berlin moved to twelfth place with 16 points.
