Polish Anita Wlodarczyk seals third straight Olympic hammer throw title
Wlodarczyk bagged gold in London, Rio Games

ANKARA
Anita Wlodarczyk of Poland won gold at the Tokyo Olympics on Tuesday in the women’s hammer throw.
Wlodarczyk made history with a throw of 78.48 meters as the first female to secure consecutive Olympic titles in an individual competition with three gold medals in a row.
She previously bagged the top spot on the podium at the London Games in 2012 and Rio in 2016.
Teammate Malwina Kopron settled for bronze with a throw of 75.49 meters and Wang Zheng of China won silver, throwing a distance of 77.03 meters.
