The Miami Heat defeated the Boston Celtics 112-109 to take a 3-1 lead in the NBA’s Eastern Conference finals late Wednesday.

The Heat's Tyler Herro came off the bench to add 37 points with 6 rebounds and 3 assists to break the record for the most points by a rookie in the conference finals.

Jimmy Butler racked up 24 points, Goran Dragic scored 22 points, and Bam Adebayo posted a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds to help the Heat seal a victory over the Celtics.

For the losing side, Jayson Tatum scored 28 points while Jaylen Brown dropped 21 points.

Kemba Walker had 20 points, Gordon Hayward racked up 14 points, and Marcus Smart scored 10 points and made 11 assists for the Celtics.
