Olympique Marseille booked their spot in the UEFA Europa Conference League quarterfinals with a 2-1 win over Basel on Thursday.

The French side missed a chance to take the lead when Amine Harit missed a penalty in the 35th minute at St. Jakob-Park.

Swiss side Basel scored the opener thanks to Dan Ndoye's goal in the 62nd minute to keep their hopes alive in the second leg of the round of 16.

But the visitors came from behind, with Cengiz Under and Valentin Rongier giving their team a 2-1 victory.

Marseille beat Basel 4-2 on aggregate to reach the quarterfinals.

PSV Eindhoven, Leicester City and Bodo/Glimt also moved to the Europa Conference League quarterfinals.
