ANKARA 

Olympique de Marseille signed French footballer Matteo Guendouzi on a one-year loan on Tuesday.

The loan contract of the former Arsenal midfielder includes an option to buy his services, according to Marseille's website.

The 22-year-old made another loan move to Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin which ended this June.

In 24 games for the German club, he made 2 goals and 3 assists.

Marseille placed fifth in Ligue 1 with 59 points in the 2020-2021 season.
