ISLAMABAD
A bomb attack against a military convoy in the southern port city of Karachi killed 1 person and wounded 15 others.
The injured people were taken to neighboring hospitals.
The convoy targeted in the attack was carrying security forces assigned on duty at election offices during the by-election held on Thursday. In adition the one used in the attack an approximately 8 kilogram handmade bomb was found at the location of the attack.
A spokesperson for the Taliban reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack.
