TRIPOLI
Armed conflict between supporters of Libya's ousted president Muammar Gadhafi and security forces killed two people in Gadhafi's hometown of Sirte on Sunday.
Abdulfettah Muhammed, President of the Sirte Local Council, said two people were kiled and six others injured in an armed conflict between Gadhafi supporters and security forces on the anniversary of Gadhafi's overthrew of King Idris I of Libya.
Meanwhile, International Tripoli Airport was besieged by armed groups and all flights were transferred to be conducted from Mitiga Intenrational Airport.
Libya's Transitional National Council forces had lynched Gadhafi on October 20, 2011, after two months of siege in his hometown Sirte.
Instability in management and security are ongoing obstacles in Libya.
