IRBIL
A member of Kirkuk Province Assembly was killed and another member was wounded when their car came under heavy gun fire in an attack in the oil-rich city.
Abdulillah Mohammed Abdullah al-Oubaydi was killed and Habis Naji al-Oubaydi was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
Iraqi government has yet to make a statement on the incident.
