The spokesman of the Iranian government Ghulam Hussein Ilham on Thursday said Iran's Vice-President Hamid Baghaei was appointed as a representative of the government during the transition period until the country's president-elect Hassan Rowhani forms the new government.

Baghaei was responsible of the complete transfer all of information including activity reports to the new government to be established.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his successor Hassan Rowhani had previously decided upon appointing a representative each for following up the transition period. Rowhani has not appointed a representative yet.

Ahmadinejad had said he was ready to hand over all authorities and information to the new government following his bilateral talks with Rowhani.
