TRIPOLI
At least six people died and seven others were injured when Assad supporters and opponents clashed in Lebanon's northern city of Tripoli.
Mortars, grenades and machine guns were used during heavy clashes, local sources said.
Clashes have been continuing since the beginning of the week in the Jabal Mohsin neighborhood of Tripoli where Assad supporters live and in Bab-al-Tibbaneh neighborhood where Assad dissidents reside.
Since the beginning of the week, 23 people including two soldiers were killed and 163 others were injured during clashes.
