Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr said that the Israeli attack on Syria was unacceptable.
In a statement released, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry quoted Amr as saying that "such an attack on Arab territory was a violation of UN treaties and international laws. This Israeli attack was unacceptable."
Syrian officials said that Israeli war jets bombed a Syrian military research center in a suburb region of Damascus killing two and wounding five people.
