In Kirkuk, Riza Huseyin, a lieutenant colonel, was killed in front of his house and 2 soldiers were killed in a different point.
In Nasiriya, southeast of the capital, two car bombs killed 2 people and wounded 25 others.
In Endulus district, two motorcyclists killed 2 people who were walking at that time.
In Falluja, west of Baghdad, unidentified gunmen killed 1 police officer and wounded 2 others at the security checkpoint.
In Wasit province in eastern Iraq, 4 people were killed and 28 others wounded at a blast in a restaurant.
In Kerbala, southwest of the Iraqi capital, a car bomb killed 4 people and wounded 19.
In El Mahdiyye district in the south of Baghdad, 2 people were killed while 10 others were wounded by a roadside bomb.
