HASAKAH, Syria
The US military base in northern Al-Hasakah province of Syria was attacked eight times with ground-to-ground weapons in the early hours of Thursday.
Reports indicate that rockets struck the base and its surroundings during the attacks, but there is no information available regarding casualties or injuries, according to details obtained by Anadolu from local sources.
Over the past four days in Syria, drone and rockets have been targeting US military bases in the Al-Tanf region in Al-Hasakah province.
Iran-backed groups occasionally launch attacks with rockets and drones on US bases located on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River.
