ALEPPO, Syria
Twenty five people were killed and scores injured by a bomb attack carried out by the Syrian air force in an opposition-held neighborhood of Aleppo, according to opposition sources.
At least 25 people were killed and another 40 wounded when regime warplanes dropped a massive bomb on a crowded market in the northern city, sources said.
The injured have since been brought to Aleppo’s Sahra Hospital for treatment.
According to hospital officials, most of those injured are in serious condition.
Local activist Mervan Salim said that casualties from the attack included a number of women and children.
