Saudi Arabia to partially resume flights to Dubai beginning March 7
National carrier Saudia says limited services between Riyadh, Jeddah, Dubai will restart Saturday
ISTANBUL
Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, Saudia, said Friday it will partially resume flights to and from Dubai beginning March 7, restoring limited air services between the two countries after disruptions in the region.
In a statement posted on US social media company X, the airline said the initial schedule will include two outbound flights to Dubai and two return services.
Saudia said the flights will operate on a limited schedule initially, and additional services are expected to be restored progressively depending on developments in the region.
Passengers can book flights through the airline’s official website and mobile application, it said.
Separately, Kuwait Airways said it has begun operating flights from several regional capitals to Saudi Arabia to help return Kuwaiti nationals home by land routes to Kuwait.
The airline said the flights will depart from Barcelona, Paris, Milan, Munich and Bangkok, and passengers must obtain a Saudi transit visa.
Air travel across parts of the Middle East has faced disruptions in recent days following US and Israeli attacks against Iran, and retaliatory strikes by Tehran, prompting temporary airspace closures and flight suspensions in several countries.
