The Saudi Defense Ministry said Friday that a ballistic missile was detected and destroyed before reaching its intended target, as attacks on Gulf countries continue amid the war involving Israel, the US and Iran.
Saudi authorities announced earlier that air defense systems intercepted several drones above the Empty Quarter that were heading toward the Shaybah Oil Field, one of the kingdom’s largest oil fields.
