ISTANBUL
Saudi Arabia said Friday that its air defenses intercepted and destroyed 28 drones across the Kingdom, according to statements by the Defense Ministry’s official spokesman.
The ministry said 12, nine and seven drones were shot down in separate incidents.
No other details were immediately available about the launch locations or intended targets.
Earlier Thursday, the Defense Ministry said Saudi air defenses shot down 53 drones and destroyed five ballistic missiles within the previous 24 hours.
