TEHRAN, Iran
Successive explosions were heard across the Iranian capital Tehran on Friday, an Anadolu correspondent reported, amid continuing regional tensions following US and Israeli strikes on Iran.
Loud blasts were reported in several parts of the city, according to Anadolu correspondent.
Regional escalation has flared up since Israel and the US launched a joint attack on Iran since Feb. 28, killing so far around 1,300 people and injuring over 10,000 others, according to Iranian authorities.
Tehran retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that are home to US military assets.
