Kuwaiti air defense systems intercepted nine ballistic missiles and four drones in the last 24 hours, the country's army said on Saturday.
The air defense systems "successfully intercepted and dealt with them," the Kuwaiti army said on US social media company X, citing Colonel Saud al-Atwan, a spokesman for the Defense Ministry.
The army also expressed its "full readiness" to protect the nation's security and sovereignty.
The US-Israeli strikes on Iran began on Feb. 28, with Tehran retaliating with repeated drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and Gulf countries hosting US military assets.
