Kuwait emir issues decree approving new Cabinet
Last Cabinet resigned in January, month after it was formed
KUWAIT CITY
Kuwait's Emir Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issued a decree on Tuesday evening approving the new Cabinet, the state news agency said.
The last Cabinet was sworn in on Dec. 14 and resigned one month later.
In January, the emir assigned Prime Minister Sabah al-Khalid al-Sabah to appoint a new Cabinet.
Last month, the emir also suspended parliamentary meetings.
