GAZA CITY, Palestine

A Palestinian was killed and several others were wounded in an Israeli strike in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday, in the latest violation of the Oct. 10 ceasefire deal, a medical source said.

The source told Anadolu that the casualties were reported in the attack that targeted a gathering of civilians in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

At least 677 Palestinians have been killed and 1,813 injured in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire, the Health Ministry said.

The ceasefire halted Israel’s two-year war that has killed more than 72,000 Palestinians and injured over 171,000 since October 2023, along with widespread destruction of about 90% of civilian infrastructure.
