Israeli airstrikes on Gaza kill 38, including children
Couple and daughter killed in strike on house in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip

At least 38 people were killed and over 40 others injured on Tuesday when Israeli warplanes targeted several areas in Gaza City and the central part of the enclave, medical sources told Anadolu.
Eight Palestinians were killed and 40 wounded when Israeli aircraft struck homes near the General Security Junction in the northwest of Gaza City.
Three more people, including two children, were killed as Israeli warplanes targeted two inhabited homes in Gaza City’s al-Daraj neighborhood. Dozens remained missing under the rubble.
Medics retrieved the bodies of 20 Palestinians from under the rubble of destroyed homes in Gaza City, according to an Anadolu reporter, citing medical sources.
Four Palestinians were also killed when an Israeli airstrike hit a home in the al-Sabra neighborhood of southern Gaza City.
In central Gaza, an Israeli strike on a house in west of Deir al-Balah killed a couple and their daughter.
Israel’s ongoing war on Gaza has killed almost 65,000 Palestinians since October 2023 and devastated the enclave, which is facing famine.
Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its war in the territory.
