ISTANBUL (AA) - Six people, including four family members, were killed in new Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, Lebanese media reported.
The state-run National News Agency said four members of the same family lost their lives when Israeli fighter jets struck their home in the town of Houmine el-Tahta.
Warplanes also hit a motorcycle in the town of Mansouri, killing two people, NNA reported.
Israel has pounded Lebanon with airstrikes and launched a ground offensive in the south since a cross-border attack by Hezbollah on March 2.
Lebanese authorities said that nearly 1,268 people have since been killed and 3,750 others wounded in the Israeli assault.
