Iranian army commander threatens US soldiers: 'Families should contact them within 24 hours'

ISTANBUL

Iran’s Army Ground Forces Commander General Ali Jahanshahi on Wednesday threatened US soldiers in the region, accusing the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) of concealing losses.

In a statement shared on US social media company X, Jahanshahi said: “The United States Central Command has heavily censored the figures on American soldiers killed. We recommend that within the next 24 hours, families of US military personnel deployed to the region contact their children. We will see what happens.”

The remarks come amid growing speculation about the possibility of a US ground operation in the conflict.
