ISTANBUL (AA) — As heavy fighting continues between Israeli forces and Palestinian groups, here are the latest developments for the evolving situation.


- The fighting

  • More than 200 raids carried out overnight by Israeli forces, destroying Hamas' military installations.
  • Israel says it has regained full control of areas around Gaza Strip.
  • Israeli army spokesman advises Palestinians in Gaza to flee to Egypt amid fighting.
  • Two Palestinian journalists are killed early on Tuesday in an airstrike by Israeli warplanes.
  • The Israeli Navy strike central areas of the Gaza Strip along the Mediterranean coast.
  • Dozens of rockets are fired from Israeli attack boats towards coastal areas of the city, according to Palestinian media.
