Coronavirus death toll in Australia increases to 3
Male, 82, dies at Sydney hospital

MELBOURNE, Australia
The number of people who have died from coronavirus increased to three in Australia after a male, 82, died at a nursing home.
The New South Wales Ministry of Health said the man, who had the virus known as COVID-19 in the nursing home in Sydney's Macquarie Park area, died at the hospital.
First detected in Wuhan, China in December, the virus has spread to at least 80 countries.
The global death toll from the virus has now surpassed 3,500, with more than 106,000 infected.
As part of efforts to contain the outbreak, governments have closed borders and suspended land and air travel with the worst-affected countries such as China, Iran and Italy.
