Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday held a phone talk with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen ahead of next week’s European Political Community Summit in Denmark, focusing on security challenges and cooperation.

Zelenskyy said they coordinated upcoming meetings with partners and discussed preparations for the summit.

He added that they also addressed reports of drones spotted in Danish airspace three times this week.

“I shared details from our intelligence,” Zelenskyy said on Telegram, stressing that Kyiv and Copenhagen “share the same understanding that, in light of all these incidents, we must coordinate even more closely and increase defense production.”

“Any challenge can be overcome through cooperation,” he added.
