Türkiye, Czech Republic sign declaration of intent on environmental protection cooperation

ISTANBUL

Türkiye on Thursday signed a declaration of intent on environmental protection cooperation with the Czech Republic, Turkish Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Minister Mehmet Ozhaseki said.

In a post on X, Ozhaseki announced the signing of the declaration and said they discussed environmental projects during a meeting with Czech Environment Minister Petr Hladik.

"We will share our experiences in combating climate change and cooperate in our environmental projects with the sensitivity we have in line with our 2053 net zero emission and green development goals set by our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan,” the Turkish minister added.
