The Turkish deputy parliament speaker called on Romania to take necessary measures against
Levent Gok met Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dancila in capital Ankara.
Gok recalled the friendship between the two countries and said Turkey was one of the first countries that officially recognized Romania in 1878.
He also emphasized Turkey's fight against FETO, saying: "Romania should do what is necessary against this terrorist organization."
Following the meeting, Gok and Dancila visited parts of the parliament which were bombed during the defeated coup.
FETO and its U.S.-based leader
Ankara also accuses FETO of being behind a long-running campaign to overthrow the state through the infiltration of Turkish institutions, particularly the military, police, and judiciary.
