BRUSSELS
Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders is being probed for alleged financial corruption, local media reported Saturday.
Preliminary investigation was carried out into claims made by a former member of the country’s intelligence services about alleged corruption and money laundering in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
In a related development, European Commission President-elect Ursula von der Leyen on Tuesday announced Reynders as new commissioner for justice.
