Russia says it downed Ukrainian drone over Moscow region
No 'preliminary damages or casualties' due to falling debris, emergency services on scene, says Moscow governor

ISTANBUL
Russia said early on Sunday that it shot down a Ukrainian drone over an urban district in the country's Moscow region.
Air defense systems downed the attacking drone over the Bogorodskoye district, Moscow Governor Sergey Sobyanin said in a statement on Telegram.
"There were no preliminary damages or casualties as a result of falling debris. Emergency services are on the scene," Sobyanin further said.
Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed that the "aircraft-type" drone was shot down at 1.00 a.m. local time (2200GMT).
Ukrainian officials have yet to comment on the incident.
