Typhoon jets from RAF scrambled to intercept two Russian bombers Wednesday afternoon, UK defense ministry has confirmed.
The Typhoons were reportedly from the Quick Reaction Alert of RAF Coningsby airfield in Lincolnshire.
A ministry spokesman told Anadolu Agency that the incident is still going on.
