ISTANBUL

Three people went missing after entering underground tunnels in northwestern France, local media reported Friday.

Two men and a woman entered underground tunnels through an access point closed to the public during the night between Thursday and Friday in the Fecamp commune of the Seine-Maritime department, according to broadcaster BFMTV.

Emergency services are reportedly on the scene, while the Seine-Maritime prefecture issued a statement asking the public to stay away from the area to ensure smooth rescue operations.
