ISTANBUL

Austria on Monday qualified for the EURO 2020 last 16 by beating Ukraine 1-0 in Group C of EURO 2020.

Christoph Baumgartner's goal in the 21st minute gave the Austrian team the victory at National Arena Bucharest, while Austria collected six points with a second-place finish.

In another Group C game, the Netherlands claimed a 3-0 win over North Macedonia.

The Dutch team are at the top of the standings with a clean record of three victories in three matches.

Finishing in the third spot, the Ukrainian team have to wait for the group stage to claim a place among the four best third-place sides to move to the knockout stages.
