The Nordex Group signed a contract with an independent power producer in the U.S. to supply 48 AW125/3150 wind turbines for a 150-megawatt wind farm project, the German company announced Friday.
Nordex plans to deliver the first turbines to the farm located in Texas in the third quarter of 2019.
No other details were provided regarding the deal signed in December.
According to a company statement, the Nordex Group had a market share of 11 percent in the U.S. in 2017.
The group has installed more than 23 gigawatts of wind energy capacity in over 25 markets and generated revenues of €3.1 billion in 2017.
