Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports increased by 19.4% to 324,410 tonnes in September compared to the same month of 2020, according to the latest data from the country's energy watchdog.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that Turkey's imports came from the US, Algeria, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Greece, Croatia and Russia.
Turkey's LPG production in September increased to 96,746 tonnes, marking a year-on-year rise of 4.3%.
Exports rose to 19,698 tonnes this September with a jump of 303.2% compared to the same month of last year.
Total LPG sales in September increased by 7.5% to around 384,309 tonnes, comprising 310,521 tonnes of autogas, 65,583 tonnes of bottled LPG, and 8,205 tonnes of bulk LPG.
