Gas flow from the Iran-Türkiye Natural Gas Pipeline will be suspended between October 2 and 9 due to planned maintenance and repair works, Turkish Petroleum Pipeline Company (BOTAS) announced on Saturday.
BOTAS stated that no problem in gas markets is expected regarding supply-demand balance due to the maintenance on the pipeline.
'Due to the planned maintenance and repair works to be carried out on the Iran-Türkiye Natural Gas Pipeline between October 2-9, natural gas will not be delivered to our transmission network from Gurbulak entry point for 8 days. During the planned maintenance and repair works, no problems are foreseen regarding the supply-demand balance in the national transmission network,' BOTAS explained.
