Gazprom expects to export between 175 and 183 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Europe this year at an average price of around $200 per thousand cubic meters, Gazprom Vice Chairman and Export General Manager, Elena Burmistrova, announced Thursday.
At a news conference in Moscow, Burmistrova said the company is maintaining its natural gas price forecast for this year with prices for exports to Europe ranging between $200 and $206 per thousand cubic meters despite an anticipated rise in demand.
The revenue from natural gas exports of Gazprom, the only company authorized to export natural gas through pipelines, decreased year-on-year by 39.6% in 2020 to $25.2 billion.
The company's natural gas exports to Europe also decreased by 12.1% last year compared to the previous year to 174.9 billion cubic meters.
