Russian Gazprom's revenues reached 2.14 trillion rubles ($34.17 billion) in the first three months of 2018, from 1.81 trillion rubles for the same period of 2017, the company said on Wednesday.
The world's largest gas producer said its profit, attributable to owners for the three months ended March 31, 2018, totaled 372 billion rubles -- 11 percent more than for the same period of 2017.
"The increase in sales revenues was mainly due to an increase in sales of gas and refined products," the company explained.
The company sold 173.8 billion cubic meters of gas in the first quarter of this year -- a substantial increase from 159.8 billion cubic meters sold over the same period last year.
