US stock market opens mixed
Dow opens at new record high level

NEW YORK
The U.S. stock market opened mixed on Thursday.
The Dow added almost 7 points to begin the day at 22,023 points -- a new record high opening. The index closed at all-time highs for the last six trading sessions in a row.
The Nasdaq gained 4 points to start trading at 6,366 points, while the S&P 500 lost 2 points to open at 2,474 points.
Electric carmaker and energy storage company Tesla announced positive earnings late Wednesday beating market expectations.
At the opening bell on Thursday, Tesla shares climbed 6.7 percent on Wall Street.
